PUBG Season 8 to Feature Big Changes

The much-awaited Season 8 is here at the desktop version of PUBG; it brings with it a whole new rebuilt map of Sanhok’s forest island. It also features a new Survivor Pass along with some other anticipated features. The most enticing addition is the introduction of the Loot Truck, a gigantic automated truck that is packed full of valuable goodies. This is what all is new in the brand new 8th Season:

The Release Date of Season 8

The 8th season is already up on the PC version. However, the updates on the console will most probably be available by July 30.

Sanhok Map Changes

The Sanhok Map has been entirely rebuilt from the ground up to look and perform better. The core idea behind the new map is to make it feel more like a forgotten and overgrown paradise. All the remarkable developments could be noticed in every location’s graphic upgrades. Most of the prominent sites present on the map are revised for the latest season. Alongside this, Bootcamp, Cave, Mountains, etc. and few other small towns are now rebuilt to align with the overall feel of the map. Also, in some cases, the setup of the destinations is updated to provide a more balanced experience overall.

Bootcamp remains as a hot drop, offering high-reward for high-risk. Quarry, which was awfully imbalanced before, now has bigger rocks for taking cover along with thrilling rope-bridges to help players in traversing the area. Mongai has now been transformed into Airfield, and Docks are now called Gateway, which is a town full of loot designed to collect money from the tourists. Apart from this, the Ruins are also converted into what they call Labyrinthine. These visual changes will not just change the way PUBG appears, but will also modify the feel of the entire island. You can refer to the official patch notes that go into more essential details on some particular modifications.

Loot Trucks

It’s safe to say that the single most prominent and exciting addition with Season 8 is the Loot Truck. These are some massive automated trucks that can spawn from any of the garages scattered throughout the sketch of the map and also travel through the paths all across the island. In the beginning, about 4 trucks can beget, and they will keep dropping loot and taking destruction from the players. If destroyed, the loot truck will give complete permission to customized weapons, and then a new truck will spawn, which can go up to eight trucks per match. Each of the weapons will have a pre-applied skin along with a unique name based on the theme of the Season 8.

Who are Sanhok 4

Following the lines of Fortnite, PlayerUnknown’s Battleground has long been scouring lore in the cosmos. A range of PUBG videos showcases the tale of battle royale, where four tough players fight. There’s a bright engineer, a retired soldier, a brutal bodybuilder, and a complete psychopath. They’ve spent a fair share of time in prison, and the whole story of Season 8 is around gamers investigating the goals and location of the Sanhok 4.

The new Season 8 sure seems to bring a lot of surprises for the gamers. With promising graphical improvement, exciting weapon additions, and a gripping story of the Sanhok 4, gamers will surely enjoy the experience.
